Why We Decided To Make A Planner

Why We Decided To Make A Planner - MindJournal

I’ll be honest I’ve never been a planner person.

I love the idea of them. Their ‘everything organised neatly’ layout—the promise of Hulk-like goal-smashing and productivity taken to the next level.

The reality? A few days lost learning how to use it—followed by several attempts at trying to use it. And then the inevitable. Adding it to the bookshelf.

Much like my reason for creating MindJournal, I knew there must be a better tool for the job. And when I couldn’t find one, I did what I always do. I made my own.

It turns out, though, that designing a planner isn’t easy. Like, two years of researching, testing and developing - not easy.

As an entrepreneur and business owner, my main struggle day-to-day is balance. It’s either all work and no play. Or all work and no play. That’s not a typo. That’s reality.

Most planners on the market want you to do more. Achieve more. Squeeze every bit of time out of each day and do nothing else but get sh*t done.

It sounds exhausting because it is. I’ve tried it. The result? Burnout.

I needed more balance: a tool and a system to help me plan my work around my life.

And that’s at the core of the new Balance Planner. A tool to help you perfectly balance work and life.

I’m proud of what we’ve built. It’s working wonders for our team and me, and I firmly believe it will do the same for you, no matter what you do.

So if you’re ready to get your work and wellbeing in sync, try our new planner.
